The Weight of Leadership
Pastors and ministry leaders often carry significant responsibility while having few spaces where they themselves can be heard.
Ministry can be full, meaningful, and deeply demanding. Yet even in the midst of faithful service, there can be a quiet sense of weight, isolation, or uncertainty about what comes next.
The Church Encourager Initiative exists to create space for that reality to be acknowledged — without pressure, without performance, and without the need to have answers.
An 8-Week Journey of Encouragement
This initiative is an 8-week relational journey centered on encouragement, listening, and discernment.
It is not coaching, consulting, or training.
It is a space to slow down, to be present, and to notice what God is doing in your life and leadership.
What Makes This Different

How It Works
Over eight weeks, participants engage in:
- 3 one-on-one encouragement conversations (30 minutes each)
- 4 small cohort gatherings (60 minutes each)
Each space is guided, confidential, and rooted in listening and prayerful reflection.
Key Elements
The Church Encourager Initiative is an 8-week relational journey that creates intentional space for pastors and ministry leaders to be heard, supported, and spiritually attentive in their current season of leadership. Through a rhythm of personal encouragement conversations and small cohort gatherings, participants are invited to slow down, reflect honestly, and notice the presence and movement of God in their lives and ministries.
Rather than offering strategies or solutions, the initiative centers on listening, discernment, and prayerful presence. Each element is designed to foster trust, reduce isolation, and encourage leaders as they navigate the realities of ministry. The goal is not to produce outcomes, but to cultivate attentiveness, clarity, and faithful next steps shaped by God’s leading.
Personal Encouragement Conversations
One-on-one conversations that provide a quiet, confidential space to be heard and supported through listening and prayerful reflection.
Small Cohort Gatherings
Small, guided gatherings that foster trust, shared reflection, and mutual encouragement among pastors and ministry leaders.
Christian DISC Reflection Tool
An optional tool used to help participants notice patterns in communication and leadership as part of the reflection process.
Kingdom Encouragers Network
An ongoing relational community for continued encouragement, connection, and prayerful support beyond the 8-week journey.
Participation
Participation is made possible through a shared generosity model.
There is no required fee to engage in the Church Encourager Initiative.
Some participants are supported through grants and designated gifts, while others choose to invest forward so another leader can participate.
